Water Polo - the first Olympic team sport
Water polo is a competitive team sport played in the water between two teams. The game consists of four quarters, usually of seven minutes, in which the two teams attempt to score goals by throwing the ball into their opponent's goal. This sport involves throwing and catching one-handed, treading water, and head-up swimming.

However, as the sport grows in our area, we hope to have future opportunities for separate boys and girls games, as well.
